You need to use a wet saw and since this is a specialized tool more than likely the best way to obtain one is to rent it on a daily basis from a tool rental center or borrow one from a friend. You can use an ordinary circular saw equipped with a diamond blade to wet cut your marble. Marble tiles look great in a bathroom or kitchen but sometimes you may need a smaller piece of tile to fill in a gap. Mark your cutting line with a marker on a wide piece of tape.

Thick piece of rigid foam. Use a rotary saw with a masonry blade to cut along the pencil cut line. Let the spinning motion of the blade do most of the work. Guide the saw instead of pushing it to avoid splintering or chipping the marble.

After you are done making the cut and done cutting all the pieces of marble you need to turn off the saw. Turn on the saw and use only light forward pressure on the sliding table. While ceramic tiles can be scored and snapped marble needs to be cut completely or else it will shatter.

Protect your marble slab by placing it on a 2 in. Much like with the sanding bits you might be tempted to think that cutting bits for your dremel tool is only able to be used with wood but again you would be mistaken.
